Agree the evidence stages with the relevant human certifier, then photograph identity, materials, measurements and workmanship before paint, trim, sealant or later assemblies hide them.

Create the source register
Keep drawings, technical sheets, part numbers, donor details, receipts and the current plan revision together. When a part changes, record the change rather than overwriting the earlier decision.
Photograph in context
Start with a wide frame that shows where the work sits on the vehicle, then add close-ups with a scale or measurement reference. Include the opposite side or original arrangement where comparison helps.
Capture before concealment
Photograph structural preparation, reinforcement, welds, fastener access, pipe and cable routing, corrosion protection and clearances before paint, underseal, trim or adjacent assemblies make them difficult to inspect.
Keep human approval distinct
A complete photo record can help a certifier, but it is not the certificate. Record the licensed person, category, inspection date, document reference and any conditions only after those records genuinely exist.
Limits and safety
AI cannot certify roadworthiness, workmanship, structural adequacy or legal compliance. Only the relevant qualified and licensed human authority can issue the applicable approval.
