Plain-language summary
Restore Replace is a practical project-planning and record-keeping tool. It does not replace your own inspection, professional mechanical advice, workshop manuals, safe work practices or supplier fitment guarantees.
Account and licence
The intended commercial model is an A$99 Founding Garage Price for the first 100 verified settled licences, followed by an A$129 standard one-time personal core-app licence. Eligible new activations receive 500 provisional Starter AI Fuel credits once. Optional prepaid Fuel funds fresh cloud AI work. Fuel has no launch expiry configured; final refund, expiry and consumer-law wording requires owner legal review before checkout. Checkout is not active in this build.
Your decisions
You remain responsible for confirming vehicle identity, repair suitability, safety, legal compliance, part fitment, supplier choice, freight, taxes, payments and any work carried out.
Suggestions and references
Photo-based or automated suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Treat part names, numbers, compatibility, repair steps, cost estimates and external references as information to verify.
No automatic outside action
The current build does not autonomously contact suppliers, place orders, make payments or book freight. Future connected actions will require explicit approval and clear confirmation.
Safety-critical work
Brakes, steering, suspension, structural repairs, fuel, electrical and other safety-critical work may require a licensed or qualified professional. Stop when unsure.
External providers
Parts, marketplaces, suppliers, carriers, payment processors, AI providers and referenced media are independent. Their terms, pricing, availability and conduct are outside Restore Replace's control.
Garage TV and external media
Garage TV provides links or privacy-enhanced embeds for official rights-holder channels and official streaming providers. Restore Replace does not sell, download, re-host or unlock their programmes. Availability, advertising, region, account and subscription requirements are controlled by the provider. Videos are context or entertainment unless separately verified as applicable technical authority for the exact vehicle and task.
The Garage community
Community posts are member contributions, not verified instructions. Evidence labels show what is claimed, failed outcomes stay visible, technical-risk content may be held for human review, and popularity does not prove a repair is correct. Messaging is opt-in. Harassment, scams, dangerous shortcuts, impersonation and unlicensed professional claims are prohibited.
The Swap Meet
The Swap Meet is a free community classifieds and communication space. Restore Replace is not the buyer or seller, does not hold money, provide escrow, guarantee payment, delivery, condition, fitment or sale price, and adds no listing fee or platform commission. Members arrange inspection, payment, collection and freight themselves. Prohibited goods are not permitted; safety-critical and theft-prone goods may be held for enhanced human review.
Shed Sweep and seller walkarounds
Manual stocktake and private listing drafts are free. Optional live voice, selected-frame identification and comparable research use a visible AI Fuel estimate and deliberate approval. Continuous camera preview stays local where supported, and Restore Replace does not record raw continuous video or raw microphone audio by default. No item is published, shared, priced or offered automatically.
Market-range planning estimates
What's It Worth results are planning estimates, not formal, insurance, tax or professional valuations. Sold evidence and asking prices remain separately labelled. No identification, condition, fitment, finished value, uplift, profit, sale price or sale time is guaranteed. Professional valuation is recommended for insurance, finance, estates, litigation, tax, disputes and high-value collector vehicles.
Engineering Passport
The Digital Build Engineer is an AI planning assistant only. It does not issue an engineering certificate, declare a vehicle roadworthy, guarantee legality, approve a permit or replace a licensed certifier. Only the relevant licensed human certifier, engineer or registration authority can inspect, approve and issue an official certificate. Current official rules and professional expertise must be confirmed before significant work.
Free tools and Garage Guide
Public calculators, checklists and guides are practical planning aids, not inspection reports, quotes, safety certifications, legal advice or fitment guarantees. Keep the stated assumptions and limitations with any saved or shared result.
AI Fuel and approvals
A fresh metered AI action shows its estimated credit range before it runs. Credits are reserved only after deliberate approval, actual measured usage is settled, and unused reserved credits are released. Manual workflows and saved results do not use Fuel. Provider calls may be stopped by safety, cost or availability controls without removing the core app.
Records and availability
Keep your own important copies. Service availability, features and integrations may change while the product is developed.
