Define the complete modification
An engine change can affect mounts, structure, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling, fuel, emissions, driveline, electrical load and mass. Show the whole system rather than asking whether one part is allowed.
Find the right certifier early
In NSW, VSCCS certifiers are authorised for specific categories. Confirm that the person can assess the planned work and ask what they need to see before work starts and at each stage.
Separate planning from approval
Restore Replace can organise questions, sources, dimensions, parts and photographs. It cannot inspect the physical vehicle, issue a certificate, approve road use or promise that a certifier will accept the design.
Preserve reversible choices
